Any space betwwen current price and any support and resistance is a Gap

High Low Open Close of any bar
Moving Averages
Trend Lines
Can be very minor

Traditional Gap: Space Between Bars
this sign of strong bulls or strong bears
Gaps on daily chart is meanless in TRs
Gap early in trend is a break away gap
Gap at end of trend is an Exhaustion Gap
Not certain until it "closes"

Island Tops is gap up followed by a gap down
Island bottom is gap down followed by a gap up

Island Tops and Bottoms is simply reversal down and up.

Since most reversal fail ,Island will fail.

Every Gap is a Trend Bar
Every Trend bar is a Gap

Bull Breakout Gap is Start of Bull Trend

Close near high of bar
Better if big bar, and big gap
Better if close above many bars, or other resistance, like trend line

Bull Measuring Gap: Look for Measured Move up

Bull trend bar after bull has gone on for 5 -30 bars

High of some bar before is below low of another bar after

Exhaustion Gap: Big trend bar late in trend

When gap forms late in trend, after 10-20 bars ,can be either:
Measuring Gap
Exhaustion Gap

Moving Average Gap Bar in Bull trend is MA GAP

Bull with 20 or maor bars above MA

Finally has one or maor bars completely below MA
Gap betwen MA and highf of bar

Exhaustion Gap

Bull has gone on for 10 or more bars
Big bull bar closing near high
Often series of 2 more bull bars

Bo above the bull trend is more likely Buy Climax and exhaustion Gap
